This
support page lists the companies, organisations and
individuals which contribute to the funds of the band
which enables the band to survive from year to year.
In the past, many unlisted organisations have
supported our fundraising efforts, but unfortunately
we are only listing the recent sponsors. Without this
valuable assistance, we would find it increasingly
difficult to carry on doing what we do best, teaching
brass band playing and entertaining the public.
Donations
From Local Organisations. Year 2008
The band
has recently received a cheque from the Co-operative
Guild movement. This welcome donation is being used
to develop the junior band "Buckhaven Brass
Beginnings". Picture below sees Jim Cameron
accepting the cheque with some of the juniors in
attendance, during a break in their rehearsals.

Listed
below are the organisations that have donated to the
band in the past year. Many thanks to all.
Donations
From Local Organisations. Year 2007
Fife
Charities Trust.
Thanks
to a recent donation from Fife Charities Trust, The
Band has been able to purchase specially commissioned
polo shirts to commemorate the Band's centenary year.
Fife Charities Trust is run by employees of Fife
Council who raise money by running a monthly lottery
draw and then the surplus funds are available for
distribution to worthy causes within Fife who are
nominated by Council employees. The Band was
nominated by Bb bass player Andy McKinlay, who is a
residential care worker within the Social Work
Department. The Band would like to thank Andy for his
nomination of the Band and to the Fife Charities
Trust Committee for this award.
